Join our team as a Dog Pack Guide and lead small groups of 6–10 dogs on structured outdoor adventures. Each morning, you'll hike approximately 2 miles while ensuring every dog receives plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation through hiking, running, swimming, and exploring. We're looking for someone who is active, dependable, and committed to providing safe, enriching experiences for every dog in our care.
Responsibilities:
• Pick up dogs directly from clients' homes and safely load and unload them from the company vehicle.
• Lead and supervise small groups of 6–10 dogs on daily hikes and field trips.
• Hike approximately 2 miles each morning while encouraging exercise through running, swimming, and exploring.
• Monitor dog behavior and maintain a calm, balanced group dynamic.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and proper handling of every dog in your care.
• Communicate with clients regarding their dogs' activities, behavior, and overall experience.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and administer basic canine first aid when needed.
Requirements:
• 8am-11:30am morning availability, earlier and extended hours will be needed during peak season.
• Passion for working with dogs and creating enriching experiences for them*.
• Familiarity with the local downtown West Palm Beach area.
• Reliable transportation suitable for transporting dogs safely.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and a flexible schedule, particularly in the mornings.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
*Previous experience in dog care, group settings, or related fields is a big plus!
